Deposit crypto to RedotPay
How to top up your wallet before you fund a card or pay. Deposit only — not registration or card orders.
What is a deposit?
A deposit moves crypto from an external wallet or exchange into your RedotPay balance. You need funds before card fees, loading, or spending.
Before you start
- Account ready — verified RedotPay account you can sign in to.
- Have crypto ready — external wallet, exchange, or after a P2P purchase (below).
- Know asset and network — they must match exactly on both sides.
Still setting up? rewards & setup guide — finish there first, then return here to deposit.
Supported assets
RedotPay supports BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and more. Confirm list, networks, and minimums in the app under Deposit before sending.
On-chain deposit — step by step
- Open RedotPay → Home → Deposit.
- Select the cryptocurrency (e.g. USDT).
- Choose the network (e.g. USDT-TRC20). Only that network is credited.
- Copy the deposit address or scan the QR code.
- In your external wallet, send with the same asset and network to the RedotPay address.
- Confirm the amount meets the app minimum.
- Submit and wait for confirmations; check wallet history in the app.
If you need to buy crypto first — P2P
P2P means buying crypto from another user via a marketplace, paying with local fiat. Use it to get crypto before depositing — not a replacement for on-chain steps above.
Many users buy via P2P first, then follow Home → Deposit once they hold the asset.
When P2P helps
- You do not already hold crypto in an external wallet.
- You want to pay with local fiat to get USDT or another supported asset.
- You need a flexible on-ramp before topping up RedotPay.
Basic P2P flow
- Open a trusted P2P marketplace (exchange P2P or in-app where available). Prefer escrow and strong seller history.
- Select crypto you will deposit later (e.g. USDT) and a safe payment method.
- Pay fiat only through the platform protected flow — avoid off-platform deals.
- Wait until crypto actually arrives; do not confirm payment early.
- Withdraw to external wallet if needed, then follow on-chain deposit steps — match asset, network, and address.
P2P reminders
- Confirm receipt before you finish — crypto must show in your balance.
- Match asset and network when moving funds to RedotPay.
- Watch fees and spread — P2P, payment, and withdrawal fees add up.
- Expect delays — bank transfers and disputes can slow settlement.
- Stay on-platform — avoid chat or pay outside escrow.
Checks & common mistakes
- Network mismatch — wrong chain often means lost or delayed funds.
- Minimum amount — below minimum may not be credited.
- Wrong asset — do not send ETH to a USDT address or wrong network.
- Pending status — allow time for confirmations on busy networks.
Risk reminder: Crypto transfers are irreversible. Verify address, asset, and network every time. Check RedotPay in-app for live limits and fees.
