Current answer
India residents cannot currently obtain a RedotPay virtual or physical card. The official card-issuance restrictions, checked on September 14, 2026, explicitly include India and say listed residents are ineligible for both card types and cannot register those locations as billing addresses.
This is narrower than saying every RedotPay function is unavailable in India. India was absent from the separately published registration and location-access restriction lists in the same review. That may leave a conditional account or KYC path, but it does not create card eligibility.
India status by decision
| Decision | Current evidence | Safe action |
|---|---|---|
| App location access | India absent from the official access-restriction list | Confirm the app opens normally |
| Registration and KYC | India absent from the official unsupported-country list | Follow only the in-app result |
| Virtual-card issuance | India explicitly restricted | Do not fund or submit an order |
| Physical-card issuance | India explicitly restricted | Do not order |
| Physical delivery | India explicitly restricted | Do not rely on shipping |
| Billing address | India addresses excluded by the issuance rule | Never substitute a false address |
| Merchant or wallet use | Relevant only to an already-issued eligible card | Check the merchant separately |
Why a working promo code does not change this answer
PAY8U, OFF20, RED08, COUPO, and RED80 may remain usable in their matching app fields for eligible accounts. Code acceptance is not an eligibility override. India residents should not treat a copied or accepted code as permission to order a card while the official issuance restriction remains.
If RedotPay removes India from the list, recheck registration, KYC, issuance, delivery and the final checkout total from the beginning. See the eligibility checklist and the canonical RedotPay facts page for the decision sequence.
